Now the trip into downtown Portland. There were a lot of things different to me, about Oregon...one of the most noticable was the number of rivers all over the place. And not little dinky rivers like we see coming out of the Sierras, but wide things that require pretty substantial bridges to cross. I was trying to get a picture of one, but with a point-and-shoot camera, at 40 mph, it was hard to capture, in the distance. Still a cool shot of the freeway interchange into the bridge.
